Presentation of AGM engagement results and report 2022

  • Date: 30/06/2022
  • Time: 3 - 5 pm
  • Location: BNP Paribas, Amsterdam

We have been a loyal visitor to general shareholders’ meetings (AGMs) for more than a quarter of a century. Every year, we ask critical questions to the directors of around 40 Dutch, listed companies, in order to promote sustainable business operations. We publish our findings and the impact of our engagement in our annual engagement report.

This was a live event and as of such has not been recorded. The speaker presentations have been made available for download (in Dutch).

AGM sustainability themes 2022

We ask our questions on the basis of a number of focus themes. Each focus theme remains for three years. After three years we set up a dialogue with our members on new relevant themes that need to be included in our engagement with companies. In this way we stay up to date and gain insight into the performance of companies within a theme over several years. In 2022, VBDO will ask questions about Biodiversity (1st year), Labour conditions in the supply chain (3rd year) and diversity (3rd year).
